Glaucoma

Glaucoma is part of the series of social and digital projects and experiments created by Michele Galli and published within his"So Contemporary" Facebook and Instagram pages. 

Born on Instagram, Glaucoma denounces Instagram's censorship of nudity.

In this project, which is somewhere between irony and digital activism, works of art history from Giotto to the present day are subjected to a process of targeted erasure, not aimed at covering the intimate parts of the subjects, but their exact opposite.

A true anti-censorship action through which, the artist expands the infamous "black sticker" to the entire body of the individual, covering and obscuring every part of it, except for the parts considered "obscene."
